Night Moves is a Minneapolis-based indie rock duo blending lush psychedelic textures with warm, retro-pop sensibilities. Formed in 2010 by childhood friends John Pelant (vocals/guitar) and Micky Alfano (bass/keys), the band crafts dreamy soundscapes that nod to '70s soft rock and modern indie experimentation. They gained attention with their sun-soaked debut album *Colored Emotions* (2012), followed by the introspective *Pennied Days* (2016) and the expansive *Can You Really Find Me* (2019). Known for their hazy melodies and Pelant’s wistful vocals, tracks like "Hold On To Tonight" and "Can You Really Find Me" showcase their knack for balancing nostalgic vibes with forward-thinking production.
The band’s recent work, including the reflective "Caroline Goodbye" and the live energy captured in their *Jam in the Van* session, highlights their evolution toward sharper songwriting while maintaining their signature atmospheric groove.
