Neocentrics

Neocentrics is an indie rock band from Boise, Idaho, originally started as a solo project by guitarist and vocalist Evan Zurilgen. Over time, the project grew into a full band with bassist Quinn Carrier, drummer Carsen Cranney, and guitarist Demetrius Vargas-Morman, enriching their sound with robust energy and infectious enthusiasm. Since beginning to play shows in 2019, Neocentrics have been dedicated to creating an immersive musical experience that connects deeply with listeners. Their music draws from a variety of influences including indie rock, folk, punk, shoegaze, and post-rock, often reflecting personal stories and struggles in their lyrics.

Known for releases like *You Were Here Before You Even Knew*, *TOLD YOU SO // DOG'S VICTORY*, and a live cover of *Cortez The Killer*, Neocentrics craft songs that offer both emotional depth and dynamic soundscapes. Evan's collaboration with other local Boise musicians has helped the band develop a signature style that is both vigorous and heartfelt, aiming to deliver music that fans can feel excited about and satisfied with, whether through recordings or live performances.
