The band was formed in 2018 and consists of four members: vocalist and guitarist Chris Lane, guitarist and backing vocalist Matt Smith, bassist and backing vocalist Mike Smith, and drummer and backing vocalist Chris Smith. The band's music is characterized by its heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and powerful vocals. Beyond The Last Coast has released two EPs, "Ego" and "Break The Cycle," and two singles, "Feed The Beast" and "Social Distancing." The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and has shared the stage with bands such as Sevendust, Alter Bridge, and Shinedown.
