Black Umfolosi

Black Umfolosi is a dynamic a cappella and dance group from Zimbabwe, internationally known for their vibrant performances blending traditional African harmonies, gumboot dancing, and intricate vocal percussion. Formed in 1982 by a group of school friends in Bulawayo, the group takes its name from the Umfolozi River in South Africa and was initially inspired to preserve and promote their cultural heritage through song and movement.
