Tropical Strength

Tropical Strength is a musical project that blends elements of surf rock, garage rock, and psychedelic pop. The project is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Chris Shaw, who is joined by a rotating cast of musicians. Tropical Strength's music is characterized by its catchy melodies, fuzzed-out guitars, and reverb-drenched vocals. The band has released a number of albums and EPs, including "Turnstiles" (2019) and "Introducing The Silverbeats" (2021).
