Formed in 2018, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Chris Martin, bassist and vocalist Emily Retsas, and drummer and vocalist Matt Martin. Their music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes, catchy melodies, and introspective lyrics. Thin Wire has released several EPs and singles, including "Rainbow," "Spy Eye," and "Tough Night." Their debut album, "Expecting the Unexpected," was released in 2022 and was met with critical acclaim. The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, sharing the stage with acts such as The Strokes, Interpol, and The War on Drugs.
