Mala Punica
Mala Punica is an early music ensemble dedicated to exploring the rich musical heritage of the late Middle Ages and early Renaissance. Led by artistic director Pedro Memelsdorff, the group specializes in the performance of sacred and secular music from Italy, France, and Spain. Mala Punica's performances are characterized by their vibrant energy, meticulous attention to detail, and deep understanding of the historical context of the music they perform. The ensemble has released several critically acclaimed recordings, including "Gothic Italy," "Vertù contra furore," and "Faventina."
