Russell Lissack is a British guitarist best known for his work with the indie rock band Bloc Party. Born in London in 1981, Lissack began playing guitar at a young age and joined Bloc Party in 2003. With the band, he has released six studio albums, including the critically acclaimed "Silent Alarm" (2005) and "A Weekend in the City" (2007). Lissack's distinctive guitar style, characterized by intricate melodies and soaring solos, has become a defining element of Bloc Party's sound. Outside of Bloc Party, he has also collaborated with artists such as Editors, The Maccabees, and The Horrors.
