Young Monks are a psychedelic rock band from San Francisco, California. Formed in 2014, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Ian Vanek, bassist and vocalist Michael Corcoran, and drummer and vocalist Chris Cain. Their music is characterized by its dreamy, ethereal soundscapes, fuzzed-out guitars, and hypnotic rhythms. Young Monks have released several albums and EPs, including "Super Elastic Xylophone" (2015), "Bound Together" (2017), and "Brand New Feeling" (2019). They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, sharing the stage with bands such as Tame Impala, The Black Angels, and The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
