Florent Jodelet
Florent Jodelet is a distinguished French percussionist renowned for his role as a soloist with the Orchestre National de France, one of the leading orchestras internationally. After studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with notable teachers like Michel Cals and Jacques Delécluse, he perfected his craft under experts including Jean-Pierre Drouet and had lessons with Iannis Xenakis, deepening his expertise in contemporary and electroacoustic music. Florent is passionate about contemporary composers and premiering new works, establishing himself as a trusted partner to many living composers.
Beyond his orchestral work, Florent is active in chamber music and is an official member of the TM+ orchestra. He performs frequently in prestigious concert venues and festivals worldwide. In addition to his performance career, he is committed to education as an assistant professor at the Conservatoire de Paris and guest professor internationally, mentoring the next generation of percussionists. Florent is also focused on producing high-quality recordings to promote contemporary works that he champions.
