Stolas

Stolas is a post-hardcore band with a distinctive sound that blends intricate guitar work, shifting time signatures, and a mix of melodic and aggressive vocals. Originally formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, the band quickly built a reputation for their technical prowess and dynamic songwriting. The group consists of Carlo Marquez, who plays drums and provides clean vocals, RJ Reynolds on bass and vocals, and Sergio Medina on guitar, with past members including Jason Weiche, who also played guitar and contributed vocals.

The eponymous album "Stolas," released in 2017, marks the band's third full-length release and demonstrates their maturation in terms of musical complexity and lyrical depth. The "Stolas on Audiotree Live," which showcases the band's gripping live performances, captures their ability to convey the energy of their studio recordings on the stage. "Allomaternal," which came out in 2014, expanded their sonic landscape by introducing more experimental elements into their already eclectic sound. Their debut album, "Living Creatures" (2013), laid the groundwork for their future work, showing a band unafraid to push the boundaries of the genre and eager to establish a name for themselves within the post-hardcore scene. Through their body of work, Stolas continues to captivate listeners with a unique blend of musical complexity and raw, emotional intensity.
