**Nightlines** is a Slovak indie rock trio from Bratislava known for their moody, atmospheric sound blending post-punk grit with poetic Slovak lyrics. Formed in the mid-2010s by vocalist/guitarist Martin Kardoš, bassist Peter Dlhý, and drummer Juraj Tomašek, the band has carved out a niche with introspective tracks like "Obyčajný Človek" ("Ordinary Person") and the haunting "Protisvit" ("Counterglow"), both from their well-received 2021 album of the same name. Their music often explores themes of urban isolation, existential reflection, and the quiet beauty of everyday life, delivered through reverb-drenched guitars and Kardoš’s distinctive, brooding vocals. While they maintain a relatively underground status internationally, Nightlines has earned a dedicated following in Central Europe for their authentic, emotionally charged live shows and DIY ethos.
