Ensemble TACTUS
**Ensemble TACTUS** is a Canadian early music collective celebrated for their fresh take on Baroque and Renaissance masterpieces. Based in Montreal, the group specializes in historically informed performances, blending period instruments and scholarly research with a dynamic, accessible energy. Founded by harpsichordist François Nicolas, TACTUS has carved out a niche for reimagining classical works, like their 2022 release *J.S. Bach: Goldberg Variations, BWV 988*, arranged by R. Aggery, which breathes new life into Bach’s iconic keyboard piece through inventive orchestration.
