Tapeworm Electric

**Tapeworm Electric** is a female-fronted rock band hailing from Athens, Greece, formed in 2018. They draw heavy influence from the British hard rock sounds of the 1970s, incorporating elements of psychedelia, dance grooves, and progressive radio melodies into their music. After releasing their powerful and melodic heavy rock EP *Fire* in 2019, they quickly built a reputation for electrifying live shows in their home country.

In 2025, Tapeworm Electric released their debut full-length album *Moonshine* via Pitch Black Records, showcasing a rich, authentic rock sound filled with stunning guitar solos, dynamic rhythms, and heartfelt songwriting. The album stands out for its handcrafted quality and timeless appeal, with tracks like “Already Left” and “Turn Into Black” highlighting the band’s ability to blend classic rock energy with emotional depth. The lineup includes vocalist Argyro Igkilizian, bassist/vocalist George Kasapidis, keyboardist/guitarist George Bizas, guitarist Panos Leontaritis, and drummer Antonis Michalakopoulos.
