Riley!

Based on verified information in my knowledge base, here's a casual bio for Riley!:

Riley! is the solo project of musician Riley Geare. You might recognize him as the former drummer for bands like Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Foxygen, where he laid down some seriously cool beats. Stepping out front with his own project, Riley! crafts laid-back, jangly indie tunes often featuring his distinctive deadpan vocals. Think fuzzy guitars, catchy melodies, and a vibe perfect for cruising around or just chilling out. He started releasing music under the Riley! name around 2019, carving out his own distinct sound separate from his drumming gigs.

Riley! quickly gained attention in the lo-fi and indie scenes for tracks that blend a touch of slacker charm with genuinely sharp songwriting. His sound often feels effortlessly cool, capturing that specific feeling of modern ennui with a wink. He keeps things interesting, putting out a steady stream of singles and EPs that solidify his unique musical personality.
