Echo Ladies are a Swedish Dream Pop trio hailing from the city of Malmö, consisting of members Matilda Bogren, Joar Andersén, and Mattis Andersson. The band burst onto the contemporary shoegaze and dream pop scene with their ethereal and fuzz-laden sonic textures. Their sound is a blend of hazy, reverb-soaked guitars, shimmering synths, and ethereal vocals, drawing inspiration from the 80s and 90s era of noise pop and shoegaze bands, while infusing their music with a distinctly modern sensibility.

The band's debut began making waves with the 2016 self-titled "Echo Ladies EP," which showcased the band's knack for creating atmospheric soundscapes paired with catchy melodies. This release was notably remixed by Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins fame, who lent his signature sound to the "Overrated (Robin Guthrie Version)" track, highlighting Echo Ladies' reverential connection to the forebearers of the genre.
