Statistics

Statistics is the solo project of singer-songwriter Denver Dalley, known for his eclectic and experimental sound that blends elements of indie rock and post-rock. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Dalley began his musical journey playing punk rock in his youth. He gained prominence as a member of the band Desaparecidos, alongside Conor Oberst, before focusing on Statistics. The project's music career includes releases like the self-titled EP in 2003, followed by albums such as "Leave Your Name" in 2004 and "Often Lie" in 2005. After a hiatus, Dalley returned with the album "Peninsula," which showcases his growth and versatility as an artist.

Dalley's work with Statistics is characterized by its abstract and edgy sound, reflecting his diverse musical influences and experiences. His involvement with various bands, including touring with acts like Har Mar Superstar and the Watson Twins, has further enriched his musical style. Statistics' music often explores themes of nostalgia and modernity, making it a unique blend of past and present sounds.
