Flor Paz, born Florencia Paz on September 21, 1989, in Buenos Aires, is a renowned Argentine singer-songwriter known for her work in the folk music genre. She comes from a musical family, with her father, Onofre Paz, being a founder of the group Los Manseros Santiagueños. Flor Paz began her musical journey at a young age and was even featured on the album "Cantos de Fe" alongside notable artists like Mercedes Sosa when she was just four years old. She formally trained at the Escuela de Música de Buenos Aires (EMBA) and developed her skills further through courses at SADAIC. Her music career includes several albums, such as "Amuleto" (2013), "Despertar" (2017), and "Soy Semilla" (2021). Flor Paz has received significant recognition, including the Premio Gardel for Best New Folk Artist in 2018. She continues to perform at major festivals across Argentina, showcasing her unique blend of traditional and contemporary folk music.
