Dominique Vellard is a French countertenor, conductor, and early music pioneer whose soulful interpretations of medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque works have captivated audiences for decades. As the founding director of Ensemble Gilles Binchois in 1979, he’s dedicated his career to reviving forgotten gems and breathing new life into sacred and secular music from the 12th to 18th centuries.
