Timur Selçuk (1946 – 2020) was a renowned Turkish musician, composer, and conductor, revered for his eclectic contributions to both Turkish classical and popular music. Born into a musical family, he was the son of the famous Turkish classical music vocalist Münir Nurettin Selçuk. Timur Selçuk combined his classical music training with a passion for contemporary styles, carving out a unique niche in Turkey’s music scene.
Selçuk's versatility as a composer and his pioneering spirit led him to compose music for a number of different mediums, including theater, film, and even political campaigns.
