Red Voodoo

Red Voodoo is a rock band from Sacramento, California, formed in 2018. The band consists of Dino McCord on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Davin Loiler on lead guitar, Andrew Edwards on bass, and Nick Pesely (or Andy Nathan in some sources) on drums. They are known for their energetic live performances and a modern take on classic rock 'n' roll, drawing inspiration from the upbeat party rock of the 80s. Their music features catchy hooks and strong vocal harmonies, with influences from artists like Sammy Hagar and Van Halen. Red Voodoo gained attention with their debut single "Rise Up," produced by Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon, and they are working on a full-length debut album under his guidance.

The band's lead vocalist, Dino McCord, is influenced by soulful artists such as Sam Cooke, Mark Farner of Grand Funk, and Otis Redding, which adds a unique vocal dimension to their sound. Their drummer brings a progressive influence, reminiscent of Neil Peart, adding a distinctive melodic approach to their music.
