FUKUSHIGE MARI

FUKUSHIGE MARI, born October 8, 1987, in Kagoshima, Japan, is a talented keyboardist, pianist, songwriter, and music producer who's made her mark in the Japanese music scene. Best known as **Chan Mari**, she's the keyboardist for the progressive hip-hop band **Gesu no Kiwami Otome** (formed in 2012), where she brought her skills from earlier gigs like the Kagoshima-based band Crimson (started in 2005), adding those funky keys to their hit albums and EPs that snagged awards like the 7th CD Shop Awards in 2015.

These days, she's shining solo with cool releases like *Motherland* (2026), *tatoushi* (2025), *Turn to Me Mukai-kun Original Soundtrack* (2023), *Tsukinomichikake Original Soundtrack* (2022), and *Japanese Onna* (2019), blending her keyboard magic into soundtracks and originals that fans love streaming everywhere.
