TOUTS

TOUTS are a fiery punk trio hailing from Derry, Northern Ireland, known for their scrappy energy and socially charged anthems. Formed in their mid-teens around 2014, the band—Sean McGowan (vocals/guitar), Jason Olliff (bass), and Luke McLaughlin (drums)—channeled their experiences growing up in post-Troubles Northern Ireland into punchy, no-frills tracks that blend Oasis-esque swagger with Clash-inspired urgency. They burst onto the scene with DIY gigs and quickly gained attention for raw bangers like "Bombscare" and "Can’t Blame Me," earning support slots for acts like The Libertines and The Pale White.

Their 2021 debut album *Education, Education, Education* (via Nice Swan Records) cemented their rep as Gen Z voiceboxes, tackling topics from political disillusionment to mental health with unpolished fervor. Recent releases like "Shane MacGowan’s New Teeth" and "Analysis Paralysis" show they’ve kept their teeth sharp, balancing sardonic wit and mosh-ready riffage. Whether they’re shouting about societal burnout or thrashing through three-chord chaos, TOUTS remain gloriously loud reminders that punk’s not dead—it’s just Irish and pissed off.
