Culpeper's Orchard

Culpeper's Orchard was a Danish progressive rock band that emerged in the early 1970s, blending folk, psychedelic, and hard rock influences into their eclectic sound. Formed in 1969, the group released their self-titled debut album in 1971, followed by *Second Sight* in 1972. Known for their whimsical lyrics, medieval-inspired melodies, and experimental arrangements, they carved a niche in the prog scene with tracks like "Going for a Song" (featured on their first album). Despite their short-lived career and limited commercial success, their music later gained a cult following among fans of quirky, genre-blending rock. The band dissolved by the mid-’70s, but their albums remain cherished relics of Scandinavia’s contribution to the golden age of prog.
