Modern Nun

Modern Nun is a post-punk band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2018 and consists of vocalist and guitarist John Schmersal, bassist and vocalist Alex Musa, and drummer Jack Lee. Modern Nun's music is characterized by its dark, brooding atmosphere, angular guitars, and driving rhythms. The band has released two EPs, "Modern Nun" (2019) and "Cherries" (2020), and a full-length album, "Court House" (2022). Modern Nun has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The Cure, Interpol, and DIIV.
