FUNBOX

**Funbox** is a Scottish musical theatre group known for entertaining children with music and comedy, focusing on traditional Scottish playground songs. The group was formed in 2015 by Anya Scott-Rodgers, Kevin MacLeod, and Gary Coupland, all former members of **The Singing Kettle**, a renowned children's entertainment group that disbanded after 30 years. Gary Coupland, a musician and composer, was an original member of **The Singing Kettle** and received an MBE in 1999 for his contributions to children's theatre. Kevin MacLeod, initially the stage manager for **The Singing Kettle**, also brought his character 'Bonzo' to **Funbox**. Anya Scott-Rodgers joined **The Singing Kettle** in 2013 and plays guitar in **Funbox**.

**Funbox** has toured extensively with shows like **Pirates and Princesses**, **Superheroes**, **Dinosaur Safari**, and **Jungle Party**, among others. Their performances often feature lively themes and characters, making them a beloved part of Scottish children's entertainment. Unfortunately, **Funbox** disbanded in 2022 after their final show at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
