Silent Films is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2010 by childhood friends Austin Crane and Chris Stewart. They released their debut album, "Danse Macabre," in 2012, which was followed by "The Black Death" in 2014. Silent Films' music has been described as "dark, atmospheric, and cinematic," with influences from post-punk, shoegaze, and dream pop. The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as Interpol, Editors, and The Cure.
