Ritmo Tribale is a Milanese punk rock institution that’s been shaking up Italy’s underground scene since the late 1980s. Known for their raw energy and socially charged lyrics, the band blends punk aggression with ska and reggae grooves, creating a sound they’ve dubbed “punk reggae tribe.” Fronted by charismatic vocalist Andrea "Zaza" Zaramella, their music often tackles political disillusionment and working-class struggles, as heard in tracks like “Milano muori” and “La Rivoluzione del giorno prima.” With a discography spanning gritty early releases to recent remastered revivals of classics like “Kriminale,” they’ve maintained a fiercely loyal fanbase through relentless DIY ethics and sweat-drenched live shows.
