Xeneris

Xeneris is an Italian band that emerged in December 2022, born from the breakup of the well-known power metal band Kalidia. Founded by Federico Paolini (guitarist and composer) and Roberto Donati (bassist), Xeneris was formed with the addition of vocalist Maryan and drummer Stefano Livieri. Their music blends elements of power metal, symphonic metal, and progressive metal, characterized by catchy melodies, strong riffs, and majestic arrangements. In June 2024, they released their debut album, *Eternal Rising*, which tells a story of resurrection and resilience through the myth of the phoenix's rebirth. The album features tracks such as "Barbarossa," "Shahrazad," and "Scilla And Cariddi," showcasing historical and mythological themes.

Xeneris' creation is a strategic evolution from Kalidia's melodic power metal roots, incorporating a more symphonic and progressive sound. The band has quickly gained attention by signing with Frontiers Music srl, a prominent label known for supporting metal artists. Their rapid progress reflects both the talent of the band members and the legacy of Kalidia. Xeneris aims to captivate audiences with its cinematic metal approach, delving into epic stories from history and mythology.
