Felicja Blumental was a Polish pianist and composer who lived from 1908 to 1991. She was known for her virtuosic technique and her interpretations of Romantic and Classical music. Blumental studied at the Warsaw Conservatory and made her debut at the age of 16. She toured extensively throughout Europe and the United States, and was particularly admired for her performances of Beethoven's piano concertos. Blumental also composed a number of works for piano, including sonatas, études, and preludes.
