Mr. 2-17

Mr. 2-17 is a 21-year-old producer and artist deeply rooted in Atlanta's vibrant hip-hop and dance culture. Growing up in East Atlanta, he developed a passion for music and dance early on, influenced heavily by Atlanta’s signature crunk sound and artists like Lil Jon and Soulja Boy. His journey began by mimicking the beats and dance styles that defined the local scene, and by middle school, he was already crafting music for his peers to find their own moment of viral success. Beyond music, Mr. 2-17 has shown versatility as a dancer and filmmaker, gaining experience behind the camera as well, notably working as a cameraman for rapper Bankroll Fresh and forming a close bond with him before Fresh’s untimely death. Mr. 2-17’s music reflects both the rich Atlanta tradition and his personal evolution, blending catchy rhythms with heartfelt storytelling.

With recent releases like "Stock Sounds Only," "Jesus Loves Me," and "TEENLIBS PT. 1 (feat. TL BigMatt)," Mr. 2-17 continues to push creative boundaries while staying true to his Atlanta roots. His sound captures the city’s dynamic energy and evolving artistic landscape, making him a distinctive voice among the new generation of Southern hip-hop artists.
