Cine Mudo is a Mexican indie rock band formed in 2011 in Monterrey, Nuevo León. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist David Castillo, bassist Alejandro Elizondo, and drummer Carlos Medina. Cine Mudo's music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, often incorporating elements of shoegaze and post-punk. Their lyrics explore themes of love, loss, and the human condition. The band has released several albums and EPs, including "Somos" (2013), "El Fin del Mundo" (2016), and "Flores" (2020). Cine Mudo has toured extensively throughout Mexico and Latin America, and has performed at major festivals such as Coachella and Lollapalooza.
