SPYAIR

SPYAIR is a Japanese rock band hailing from Nagoya, formed in 2005. Consisting of IKE (vocals), UZ (guitar, programming), Momiken (bass), and Kenta Sasabe (drums), the band carved their niche in the rock scene with their blend of melodic tunes and robust rock sounds. The band first gained widescale recognition through their songs being featured in various anime series, which helped them amass a dedicated fanbase. SPYAIR's music is characterized by its high energy and catchy hooks, combined with IKE's distinct vocal style that seamlessly alternates between raw and melodic.

Embraced both domestically and internationally for their electrifying live performances, SPYAIR’s repertoire has grown to include hits like "イマジネーション" and "サムライハート(Some Like It Hot!!)," songs that showcase their capability to resonate with diverse audiences. Their evolution as musicians is evident in the newer versions of their tracks, which exhibit a maturity and depth that has developed over years of performance and creativity. The band's participation in events like Sony Music AnimeSongs ONLINE 2022, alongside their contributions to THE FIRST TAKE—a YouTube channel that presents artists performing in a single take—cements their status as one of the contemporary icons of the Japanese rock scene. Whether through their anthemic singles like "RE-BIRTH" and "PRIDE OF LIONS" or through emotionally charged numbers like "iris" and "轍～Wadachi～," SPYAIR’s music continues to inspire and resonate with a growing global audience.
