Snake River

Snake River is a Canadian band that has been active since its inception as a recording project in 2012. Initially started by singer/multi-instrumentalist Christopher Sleightholm, the band eventually evolved into a live ensemble. Snake River has released seven records, with their most recent notable works including "The Phantom Carriage" in 2022, which is a live score for the classic silent film of the same name, and "Lost Album" in 2021, which is set in the fictional town of Snake River Mountain. Their music often blends elements of psychedelic rock with other genres, creating a swirling and introspective sound. Snake River has gained recognition in Canada, with albums like "Tread on to the Unknown You" reaching the top of national charts and their music used in various licensing agreements. The band's sound is reminiscent of neo-psychedelic influences, blending reverb-drenched guitars with rich narratives.
