Monte Resina

Monte Resina is an instrumental rock band from Florianópolis, Brazil, known for their heavy, psychedelic sound that blends stoner rock, sludge, post-hardcore, and alternative influences. The band features Paulo Tefili on guitar, Cainã Almeida on bass, and Roger Benevenutti on drums, with Paulo leading the songwriting charge since 2010. Their music is characterized by dense, groove-heavy instrumentation that emphasizes atmosphere and instrumental storytelling rather than vocals.

The band has built a steady catalog of releases, starting with their self-titled EP in 2014 before moving on to projects like "Aluado Bulimor" (2018). Most recently, they released "Nem Era" in May 2025, a full-length album showcasing their evolved sound with tracks like "Box Pacoveira," "Z1ka Pesadelo," and "Hum na Mão." Recorded at Ouié Studio in Florianópolis and mixed/mastered by experienced hands in the Brazilian underground scene, Monte Resina continues to establish themselves as key players in the international instrumental stoner and psychedelic rock community.
