Vök

Vök is an Icelandic electronic dream-pop band, blending smooth electronic beats with haunting vocals and ethereal soundscapes. Formed in 2013 in the town of Hafnarfjörður, the band quickly carved out a niche for themselves with their distinctive sound. The core members include Margrét Rán (vocalist and guitarist), Andri Már (saxophonist and synthesizer), and Ólafur Alexander (guitarist and bassist). They initially gained attention after winning Iceland's prestigious Músíktilraunir competition, the same contest that once set acts like Of Monsters and Men on course for international acclaim.

Vök's discography is a testament to their evolving artistry, with releases such as their debut EP "Tension" (2013) and their 2015 follow-up EP "Circles" leading up to their well-received 2017 debut album "Figure."
