petalhead

petalhead is a Japanese shoegaze band that formed in 2019. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Yumi Uchimura, guitarist and vocalist Yutaka Aoki, bassist and vocalist Yutaka Aoki, and drummer and vocalist Yutaka Aoki. petalhead's music is characterized by its dreamy, ethereal soundscapes, and its lyrics often explore themes of love, loss, and longing. The band has released two EPs, "Apartment Above" and "早咲きのダリア", and one full-length album, "Paradise". petalhead has toured extensively throughout Japan and has also performed at several international music festivals.
