Electric Guest is an American indie pop and neo-soul band hailing from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2011. The band is a creative collaboration between Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton, with Taccone serving as the lead vocalist and Compton on the drums. Asa Taccone’s brother, Jorma Taccone of The Lonely Island fame, has also played a significant role in shaping the band’s artistic direction. Electric Guest debuted with their album "Mondo" in 2012, which was produced by Danger Mouse, a fact that underscores the high level of industry respect and anticipation surrounding their entrance to the music scene.
