Brutal Brain Damage

Brutal Brain Damage was a Portuguese grindcore/death metal band formed in 2011 and based in Caxarias and later Ourém, Santarém. Known for their aggressive style incorporating themes of death, they released the *Bang Bang Theory* album (2016) and splits/EPs including *Grindhouse* (2015), *Brain Soup*, and *Borderline Syndrome*. Their lineup featured members like guitarist Marco Martins (later of Analepsy) and drummer Tiago Correia, with a sound rooted in relentless blasting sections and raw intensity characteristic of the genre. The band’s discography reflects their grindcore ethos, though they’ve since split up. They collaborated on splits like *Grindhouse* and maintained a DIY approach through labels like Vomit Your Shirt and Miasma Records.
