It often favors a bright, percussive touch and sharply etched rhythms, with an instinct for asymmetrical meters (such as 7/8 or 9/8), dance-like propulsion, and sudden shifts between lyric intimacy and explosive virtuosity. The repertoire ranges from core European canon to 20th–21st century modernism and Balkan composers, emphasizing color, dramatic narrative, and a fearless, athletic approach to sound.
