Cuban Electronic

Cuban electronic is a club-forward fusion where Havana’s rhythmic DNA meets modern electronic production. It layers tumbao-inspired basslines, clave-driven percussion, and nods to son, rumba, and timba over house, techno, and global bass frameworks, often spiked with dembow, vocal chants, and chopped streetwise samples. The sound tends to be warm and percussive—congas and handclaps snapping against crisp hi-hats—yet futuristic, with shimmering synths, heavy subs, and dramatic builds designed for dancefloors. It can swing from sunlit, melodic grooves to darker, hypnotic late-night tracks, always anchored by an unmistakably Cuban pulse.
