Egg Punk

Egg punk is a subgenre of punk music characterized by its lo-fi production, primitive instrumentation, and eccentric, often humorous approach. Emerging in the 2010s, egg punk drew inspiration from the DIY ethos of post-punk and hardcore, with a focus on simple, catchy songwriting and irreverent, absurdist lyrics.
