Eurotrance

Eurotrance is an energetic and melodically-driven subgenre of electronic dance music that emerged in the late 1990s and early 2000s across Europe. With its roots in trance, eurodance, and house music, eurotrance is characterized by captivating synth melodies, a driving four-on-the-floor beat, and euphoric build-ups that lead to explosive climaxes. The genre often features vocal samples or anthemic choruses that add an emotional layer to its infectious rhythmic energy. Notably influenced by artists like Lina Rafn and Marc Et Claude, the sound encompasses both polished, radio-friendly tracks and more underground, experimental beats, as seen in the works of Vladimir Dubyshkin and X-COAST.
