Melbourne Bounce International

Melbourne Bounce International is a high-energy electronic dance music (EDM) genre characterized by its infectious, driving rhythms, typically between 128-140 BPM, and often features a prominent, pulsing bassline. Emerging in the early 2010s in Melbourne, Australia, the genre gained global popularity around 2014-2016, particularly among festival-goers and clubbers. Melbourne Bounce International blends elements of electro house, big room house, and Dutch house, with a distinctive, bouncy vibe and often incorporates catchy, simplistic melodies and vocal hooks. Notable for its over-the-top, energetic sound design and heavy use of distorted, synthesized leads, the genre has been praised for its ability to get crowds moving. While it shares similarities with other EDM styles, Melbourne Bounce International's unique fusion of elements and unbridled energy have cemented its place as a staple of modern electronic dance music.
