Blood Monolith

Blood Monolith is a formidable death metal supergroup formed in 2023. The band is led by guitarist/vocalist Shelby Lermo, known for his work with Nails and Ulthar, and also includes guitarist Tommy Wall from Undeath, bassist Nolan from Genocide Pact, and drummer Aidan Tydings-Lynch from Deliriant Nerve. Based in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area, Blood Monolith's music is deeply influenced by the region's history of rebellion and social unrest, channeling anger and aggression into their sound. Their debut album, *The Calling of Fire*, released on May 16, 2025, showcases their unique blend of death metal, hardcore, and punk influences, setting them apart with their intense and unrelenting style.
