Beach Bunny

Beach Bunny is an American indie pop band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2015. The band is the creative project of singer-songwriter and guitarist Lili Trifilio, who began releasing music under the moniker while attending DePaul University. Her intimate, confessional songwriting struck a chord with listeners, and she soon recruited additional members to fill out the band's sound: Matt Henkels on guitar, Jon Alvarado on drums, and Aidan Cada on bass. Beach Bunny's sound is characterized by catchy melodies, relatable lyrics, and a blend of power pop and surf rock influences, resonating with a growing audience seeking authenticity and emotional depth in music.

After gaining traction with their early EPs, Beach Bunny achieved breakthrough success with the 2018 hit "Prom Queen," which explored themes of body image and self-acceptance and became an anthem for many young fans. The band's debut full-length album, "Honeymoon," was released in 2020 and further cemented their standing as a rising force in the indie music scene. With a flair for creating infectious hooks and a knack for addressing the highs and lows of young adulthood, Beach Bunny has captivated fans around the world. Their subsequent releases, such as the EP "Blame Game" and singles like "Cloud 9" (featuring Tegan and Sara) and "Emotional Creature," continue to showcase the band's evolution and Trifilio's heartfelt storytelling.
