Argent
Argent was a British rock band formed in 1969 by Rod Argent, the former keyboardist of The Zombies. Known for their blend of progressive rock, hard rock, and pop sensibilities, Argent gained widespread recognition in the early 1970s with hits like "Hold Your Head Up," which became a Billboard Top 10 single in the U.S. The band's music often showcased Rod Argent's keyboard prowess, intricate arrangements, and catchy melodies.
Their albums—including Ring of Hands, All Together Now, and In Deep—offered a mix of progressive epics and radio-friendly rock songs.
