Whitney Mkok is a Kenyan-born DJ and producer originally from Malindi, born in 1994. She moved to Florence, Italy, in 2017 to pursue studies in fashion, marketing, and visual merchandising, and simultaneously began performing as a DJ in local clubs. Her music style is a vibrant blend of Afro Deep and Tech House, infused with Afrobeat influences that reflect her African roots. Whitney started out as a dancer, which deepened her love for music, and after connecting with influential DJs like Federico Scavo, she found her unique sound and direction as both a DJ and producer. Her releases, including "Nakupenda," "Forever Young," and "Tumbao Con Estilo," showcase her Afro house flavor and her evolution into creating her own original productions. She sees music as a powerful expression of emotions and identity, bringing good vibes to her sets and productions alike.
