He's especially admired for his interpretations of classical and romantic repertoire, as well as 20th-century composers. Varga has held prominent posts including Principal Conductor of the Euskadi Symphony Orchestra and Chief Conductor of the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, and he’s also a frequent guest with top ensembles around the world. Passionate and precise, his style brings a fresh, energetic touch to both beloved masterworks and contemporary pieces alike.
