Maustetytöt are a Finnish indie pop band formed by sisters Anna and Kaisa Karjalainen. They’re known for pairing bright, catchy melodies with deadpan delivery and lyrics that lean into everyday gloom, dark humor, and small-town realism—often landing somewhere between sweet pop and stark, post-punk-ish melancholy.

The duo broke through in Finland in 2019 with their debut album *Kaikki tiet vievät Peltolaan* and the hit “Tein kai lottorivini väärin,” earning a reputation for songs that feel instantly singable while still cutting deep. Since then they’ve continued releasing new music in the same sharp, understated style, becoming one of the standout acts of the modern Finnish-language indie scene.
